SOP fencing competitions get underway
DOHA, January 18, 2019. The fencing competitions at the 12th edition of the schools Olympic Program (SOP) began on Thursday.
In foil event for boys’ primary schools, Yousef Ehab and Fahad Al Mansouri qualified to the final match.
In Epee event for boys primary schools, Marchez Theho from Bonabart School and Blazizo Evo from Park House School qualified to the final match.
On the other hand, the volleyball competitions for boys primary and secondary schools continued in style on Thursday at Al Arabi Sports Club.
Ibn Taymiya Secondary school defeated Al Sailiya School 2-0 while Nasser bin Abdullah Al Attiyah School edged past Al Jumailiya School 2-0.
